Integration from design to manufacture
Skill Designor Pro gives you perfect consistency between design and manufacture. Special characteristics are managed at all stages. The common thread (APQP procedure) allows integration of functional analysis in the job sheet. Skill Designor Pro capitalises on non-compliances through direct use of the FMEA studies.
Knowledge network
In order to accelerate input, increase its reliability and assist with it, Skill Designor© Pro uses a knowledge network, so that the response to the following stage is always given, based on experience previously capitalised by the system. An example for a given operation is only to show the possible modes, and for a given mode only to show the possible causes… The knowledge network must give the user the next stage, without having to view or search from among the thousands of terms in catalogues.The precise wording is unimportant: some ten terms are shown, and the choice is therefore instantaneous.
Manufacturing range
Skill Designor Pro uses a matrix to analyse risks during the manufacturing process. The characteristics, defined during design, are directly accessible for the analysis of the process.
Components /operations matrix
The connection between the listing of the components in the manufacturing range consists in analysing the participation of the operations to obtain characteristics of the components. Here too, the special characteristics are managed for each operation. The product listing is common to design and manufacture. One operation obtains several characteristics.A characteristic may be obtained with several operations.Depending on the process, implementation may be gradual (e.g. preform mechanics, finishing), or faster, in a single operation (e.g. plastic injection, founding).
Creation of actions
For each cause, several actions can be put in place to reduce the criticality values through a reduction of the frequency or of detection.
Monitoring of the action plans: "2 mouse clicks"
Actions are monitored and updated by two mouse clicks. The user gives their name, and all their unimplemented actions are displayed. The portfolio of actions is centralised for the entire company, enabling everyone to access directly all the actions to be accomplished for all the FMEA files managed by Skill Designor Pro.
Update of an action
Clicking once on the action enables the user to effect the update or make the report directly. At this stage it is impossible to delete an action.
Monitoring of actions
The graphical analyses in the portfolio of actions enables the overall level of progress in relation to a study to be seen immediately.
More detailed analyses concerning the managers enable each person's rate of progress to be measured. Plan, Do, Check, Act.
Capitalisation of FMEAs in multiple languages
Skill Designor Pro is, of course, available in several languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, etc.). The translation option enables FMEAs to be "brought to life" through dynamic updating of the central synchronised glossaries, and therefore to capitalise on all newly translated terms. Each user can use the application with screens in their language FMEA studies are manipulated in languages for clients.

Capitalisation
The specific fmeas are created from generic FMEAs. A generic fmea capitalises, under control, on all the knowledge added in its specific fmeas. The specific fmeas are created from generic fmeas; every enrichment of a specific fmea is capitalised in the generic fmea Knowledge is gradually built upon by accumulating experience from all the studies. Functional analysis
Skill Designor Pro uses the life cycle (Life Cycle Cost) to analyse the functions expected by the client and their schedule of specifications (C.D.C.). The functional criteria define the level of constraints (norm X50-150). The special characteristics defined by the client's schedule of specifications are incorporated in the product functional analysis.
Functions /components matrix
The connection between functional analysis and product listing consists in analysing the way the component or components participate in accomplishing functions. Here too the special characteristics are perfectly consistent with the client's expectations. Analysis of the causes (as part of design management) enables several characteristics of components to be linked to one another, as a cause of failure. Skill Designor Pro is able to adapt both to single-component (piston) listings, and to complex listings involving several components (electronic, etc.)
FMEA visual interface failures
The mode is the loss of a functional criterion; the causes originate from the components. A mode has effects, the most serious of which is dimensioned (G). A mode may have several causes, each of which has a frequency (F). A cause may have several means of detection, the most effective of which is dimensioned (D). The product of the three marks constitutes the value of the initial IPR (risk priority index).
Supervisory plan
The block diagram is obtained automatically by incorporating the elements of the manufacturing range, and of the supervisory plans. The process parameters and the characteristics of the components in each operation are displayed dynamically.

The job sheet is obtained automatically by incorporating the elements of the design, the manufacturing range and the supervisory plans. The process parameters and the characteristics of the components for each operation are displayed dynamically.
Transversal audit
In the event of a client non-compliance it is important to make a transversal analysis of the same problems in hundreds of studies, or to be familiar with all the actions undertaken in response to a given cause. The transversal audit module lets the user access the database, and by this means they are able to create specific relationships by using a simple language to formulate their queries. The user accesses each table and each field in order to define their question.They produce their specific report by adding filtering conditions to it
